Connexions

Anyone over the age of 30 notice the rather chilling resemblance between the bowler-topped image of Johnny Depp in the poster for “Charley and the Chocolate Factory” and that of Malcolm McDowell in the classic poster ad for Stanley Kubrick’s “A Clockwork Orange” (1971)? Do they think we’ve forgotten? Or have media references become so generalized that even the admen don’t remember what they’re lifting from?
